Management Team

HHT is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, with senior managing officer, Jade Danner.

Jade Danner , Chief Executive Officer

Jade is Hawaiian, a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and a homesteader. She attended Arizona State University where she majored in Political Science and English. Jade has an extensive background in policy issues, as well as tribal courts and government services, social and economic development in Native communities, graphic design, database development and is an expert facilitator and grant writer.

Lilia Kapuniai, Operations Manager

Lilia is a Hawaiian and a homesteader from Waimea, where she graduated from Hawai'i Preparatory Academy.  She has over ten years of experience working in the Native Hawaiian community on many initiatives that support social and economic development initiatives.  At HHT, she is responsible for the company's administrative activities which include enforcement of company policies and procedures, management of activities relating to human resources, management of corporate development opportunities, coordination of public relations activities, and assistance with special projects.

Erik Danner, Production Manager

Mr. Danner, a Native Hawaiian born in Nebraska, has a wealth of entrepreneurial experiences in rural communities. He founded/co-founded nearly a dozen firms in small communities in the construction, entertainment, and transportation businesses. Mr. Danner also developed priceless insight into Native communities having spent almost all of his life living in the Native lands of the Apache, Navajo, Hopi, and Inupiat. Raised from age 12 in the Inupiat culture, he has been fortunate to learn from Inupiat elders and practice subsistence living, whaling, and hunting. Mr. Danner met his wife, Larinda, an Native Inupiat, in Barrow, Alaska. They are currently homesteaders living in Anahola, Kauai and have seven children. Mr. Danner earned an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology.  Mr. Danner helped open and manage HHT's pilot production facility in Anahola, Kauai.  As the Production Manager, he is responsible for managing workflow at each site, monitoring productivity goals of the employees, inspecting facilities/equipment to ensure operation, and coordinating opportunities for all employees.
